Scatterbrain takes of shoes
shoelaces blue, blue mood, blue moon,
Tonight a city of scattered minds,
fragments from months of nasal congestion
into a pile of apathy
like black concrete
or maybe it was a lifetime that build up to this.
I bought white shoes
because white is the color of perfection,
Perfectionate me
Sterile candied thought confection leaves me frantic.
I swallow them into space-filling eather like purple air, I say
Consume me
Sweaty neon city night lights, an inflamed urban complex:
red for stop, green for go
I'm yellow I proceed with caution
you might call me a stoplight.
can't change my complexion, white disguise, mirror eyes
I do fear your rejection
Scattered mind, my, my.
I've washed my hands with acid water, bisected my ears
because why would I wanna keep spoons the size of the moon
and vegetable fingers, too coarse to hold any school of thought
I'm a white curtain tinged with ultra-violet
I'm infected with indifference
My silence keeps its promise:
It's a return address.
Anonymous like transit malls in August.
